This year, the Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa (OSIEA) Young Leaders Forum will be held from November 15-17, 2017 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, inviting young leaders from across Africa.
Convened for the first time in 2016, Young Leaders Forum invited 120 youth from Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, South Sudan and Burundi to discuss themes centered on Social Movements, Technology and Innovation and Sustainable Development from 1st – 3rd November, 2016.
WORTH
- There are no fees to attend the forum.
- Organizers will also provide limited support for meals and accommodation for participants from outside Dar es Salaam. Participants are however expected to cover their travel costs to and from the conference.
ELIGIBILITY
Application is opened to:
- Youth between the age of 18-35 years.
- Individuals from social-political movements, business start-ups, social enterprises, civil society, international organizations and public institutions from across Africa.
