Foundation. Centre of African Studies offers 3 MSc/MA scholarships to African nationals as part of the Governance for Development in Africa Initiative funded by the Mo Ibrahim
WORTH
- Masters: The scholarship provides for fees, visa costs, one return flight, accommodation at SOAS’ students hall and living costs for the year.
- PhD: The scholarship will also cover in total 2 return flights: one during the first year, and one for the viva (plus one week accommodation around the viva.
ELIGIBILITY
- In order to be considered for funding, applicants must first secure an unconditional offer for the MSc/MA by applying directly to the SOAS admissions office.
- The eligible MSc/MA are only those within the following departments
- Development Studies, law, economics, international relations/politics, MA African Studies, CISD, DEFIMS, Distance learning: CEFIMS
