Airbus is inviting teams of students from around the world to take part in Airbus Fly Your Ideas, the popular global student contest that challenges teams of students to innovate for the future of aviation. It’s a unique opportunity for students to develop their technical and employability skills, and to apply their classroom learning to real-world challenges, as selected by Airbus employees.
The competition involves 3 progressively challenging rounds, starting in September 2016. Five teams will be selected to present their ideas to a panel of industry experts in May 2017 during the live Airbus Fly Your Ideas final, for a chance to win €30,000, the runners up winning €15,000.

- Innovate with Airbus Experts and tackle the real-world challenges facing the future of aviation.
- Test, visualise and prototype ideas and so gain first-hand understanding of how to develop either workable solutions with immediate potential application, or ‘blue sky’ proposals with long-term potential.
- Network and engage directly with Airbus members of staff assigned to support each team starting in Round 1 and throughout Round 2 and Round 3 of the challenge.
ELIGIBILITY
Airbus Fly Ideas are for:
- College & University students from around the world studying
- Foundation, Bachelors, Masters, MBA or PhD level degrees
- Any academic subject
- Full-time or part-time students (as long as they are not working at Airbus or Airbus Group)
