SURVEY: On 'The Future Young Women Want'

The count down has begun and time is running out!! If you haven’t heard yet then what cave have you been living in? I am talking about- ‘The Future Young Women Want’, a paper which the World YWCA office is putting together. We need you because you of course, are the young women in question. So please take 10 minutes to complete this short online survey.

This paper will be shared in many decision-making spaces such as the review of the Millennium Development Goals and the elaboration of the post-2015 Development Agenda, the 20 year review of the Beijing Platform for Action and the International Conference on Population and Development Platform for Action. All of these are global declarations and goals that our national leaders committed to in the past to bring about better lives for women, young women and girls. Progress towards these declarations and goals are going to be reviewed. Our global and national leaders are again going to make critical decisions on our behalf. The World YWCA would like to ensure that the thoughts and voices of young women are taken into account in these consultations and processes. This information will also feed into the World YWCA Young Women’s International Training Institute taking place later this year.
Your opinion matters therefore please help us by completing the survey by January 31st, 2013. Please note that all information is confidential and names will not be used in the paper. We will only disclose the region where you are from. Please note that contributions can also be posted in Spanish and French.
