The University of Edinburgh, UK is inviting applications for ‘The Julius Nyerere Master’s Scholarship’ from students of Tanzania who are enrolled for a postgraduate Master’s study in any subject for the academic session 2014-15. Students who haven’t applied for the admission to the University of Edinburgh and have full EASE authentication will not be able to access the online application form.
The scholarships covers full overseas tuition fee, living costs of £10,000, and a return flight from Tanzania to the UK.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens who are normal residents of Tanzania, and are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
- Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
- Applicants who already hold a degree from outside Tanzania are not eligible for the scholarship program.
- Applicants with very good track record of work experience relevant to their prospective degree having a 2:1 honors degree are eligible for the scholarship.
