The Peoples Senate is committed to creating an irreversible consciousness in the Nigerian people through, education, debates, interaction and information gathering to permanently guarantee a Nigeria where every voice has a genuine hope of being heard. It is our stand that the issue of deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector is one that will have a domino effect on the Nigerian masses if not properly addressed. The dialogue is therefore an opportunity to consider the issue of deregulation from all perspectives.
This event will bring together experts, analysts and key stakeholders drawn from the Government, Labour/Civil Society, and the Private sector, respectively to deliberate on deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector. More importantly, participants will proffer suggestions that will hopefully influence the government’s decision making process.
This event will be chaired by Mallam Salihu Mohammed Lukman (Former Senior Assistant General Secretary of the Nigerian Labour Congress).
National Dialogue on Fuel Subsidy; Issues, Meeting points and Solutions scheduled to hold November 29, 2011 at Transcorp Hilton Rivers Hall at 10am prompt.
To participate in the dialogue, please email Emeka Diru on emex_us@yahoo.com
