Are you a student or young business executive with a passion for financial services? Do you want to travel to the United Kingdom to study, train or gain work experience in the Financial Services Sector? Then the Mansion House Scholarship could help you.
The Mansion House Scholars scheme provides scholarships in support of overseas students for training and work experience in the United Kingdom’s financial services industry.
The roots of the Mansion House Scholarship Scheme can be traced back to 1997, when Sir Richard Nichols, then Lord Mayor in the City of London, was particularly impressed during his overseas visits by the high regard in which the City is held by foreign business communities and by the number of students who wished to study in the UK in schools and colleges through business attachments, executive exchanges, and management training.
Now firmly established, the Scheme supports the funding of students from overseas taking Masters level degree courses at British Universities or to enable business trainees or officials to undertake study or training in financial and related business activities.
Awards vary in size but are usually in the region of £5,000 to £7,500.
