Internet of Things (IoT) is the trend of taking previously unconnected objects – like cars, cranes, and cash registers – and connecting them to the internet in a way that they can send & transmit information that can then be acted on by the network.
The IoT World Forum Young Women’s Innovation Grand Challenge is a global innovation challenge open to young women between the ages of 13-18. The aim of the challenge is to recognize, promote, and reward young innovators as they come up with new uses for Internet of Things technologies.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a student who likes to take a creative approach to projects.
- Must be a young woman between 13-18 years old.
- Must be able to look at the problems of today and propose how they’d solve one problem using Internet of Things technology.
