Playing for Change supports social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas on how to make life betterfor children and youth.  We contribute with money and business expertise, you contribute with your idea and your work.  We now invite social entrepreneurs to apply for support from our incubator.

WHAT WE OFFER

The selected social entrepreneurs, we call them Playmakers, will be offered a place in our Incubator, for one to three years.

The incubator support include:•

Salary funding•

Network, advisors and coaching from some of the sharpest business minds of Ghana•

Problem solving sessions and an international network of Playmakers

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Playing for Change support social entrepreneurs that make life better for children and youth. Our focus area is play – which means that we will give extra regard to ideas focusing on strengthening children’s right to play or using playful approaches to social change.

The idea we are looking for:• Has the potential to change the lives of children and youth.• Has the potential to be replicable all over the country or the region.• Is innovative and have system changing potential.The person we are looking for:• Has entrepreneurial skills; is result-driven, competitive and creative.• Is reliable, motivated by the social cause and is politically and religiously independent.• Thinks globally and acts locally.

HOW TO APPLY

Applications can be submitted here no later than December 31st 2011. Applicants who proceed in the process will be asked to submit a proposal and references no later than January 16th 2011. The final selection will be made in March and the Incubator will begin April.
