The Second World Summit for Social Development is a renewed global platform committed to advancing inclusive growth, social justice, and people-centered development. Building on the momentum of the 1995 World Summit for Social Development in Copenhagen, which produced the landmark Copenhagen Declaration, this follow-up gathering seeks to reaffirm and expand commitments to poverty eradication, full employment, and social integration in the context of today’s rapidly changing world.
Recognizing the persistent challenges of inequality, unemployment, and social exclusion, the Summit offers a unique opportunity to strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration and ensure that development policies prioritize human dignity, rights, and well-being. It calls on governments, civil society, youth leaders, and development actors to engage in critical reflection and action-oriented dialogue on how to align economic strategies with social progress.

ELIGIBILITY
The beneficiary must be:
- 18–35 years
- A member of a network, coalition, or organization driving development towards the SDGS
- High level of expertise and competence in advocacy and SDGS implementation
- Have an existing Qatar Visa is an added advantage.
- Available to travel between 2nd and 8th November 2025
