Are you passionate about improving how countries work together in development?
Restless Development – in partnership with the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation (GPEDC) – is looking for a young people (aged 18-30) from the Global South to participate in the High Level Meeting of the GPEDC this April
What’s it all about?
This event is the first High Level Meeting of the GPEDC. It will be attended by Heads of State, Senior Ministers, CEOs of Multinationals, Heads of Development Agencies, and so on. They are keen to have strong youth participation on panels and throughout other aspects of the event itself. It’s a very, very exciting and significant opportunity for increasing youth visibility and contribution in a high level, mainstream policy space.
We are specifically recruiting for two young, dynamic and engaging panelists to take part in a High Level panel discussion on the following themes:
- “Knowledge Sharing and Cooperation between nations in the Global South”
- ““Development Cooperation with Middle Income Countries” Cooperation with Middle Income Countries”
- More info on each of these is attached.
Whilst this event will be technical and high level, Restless Development will be working with young panelists and the GPEDC team to increase accessibility of language used. We will also be working with youth communicators and GPEDC Communications staff to make the debate accessible to young people who are following on social media.
DEADLINE: 12 noon GMT on Thursday 6th March.
Please note that all costs of participation will be covered.
