The Social media Influencers training seeks to build the capacity of selected young influencers across the continent on advocacy strategies to End Female Genital Mutilation across 7 African countries- Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Senegal or The Gambia.
By completing this form, you are confirming that you will be available on 28th September 2022; to attend the Social Media Influencer’s training in the capacity of a #YouthENDFGM champion to eliminate FGM in Africa.
During the 1 day interaction, you will have the opportunity to interact with top Social Media Influencers from across Africa, learn strategies to mobilize youth actions, leverage on social media as a tool for the elimination of FGM in Africa.
Eligibility
1. Between the ages of 18-35 years
2. Applicant must be resident in Nairobi, Kenya.
3. Applicant should possess passion and willingness to take action towards ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Africa
