GET offers a competitive research fellowship in Biosecurity and one health to a highly motivated researcher who aspires to become a vibrant research scholar contributing to biosecurity threat in Africa. Each successful fellow is expected to engage in an independent, details and quality One Health and Biosecurity research specific to Africa countries. Successful fellows will undergo five months comprehensive independent research studies in specific thematic areas.
WORTH
- A stipend of $1,200 monthly.
- Fellows will be provided with accommodation for the duration of the fellowship.
- The fellowship includes provision for travel expenses.
- Medical health insurance coverage will be provided for the fellows.
ELIGIBILITY
- Open to highly qualified mid-career academics or researchers/policymakers.
- Must be a citizen of African countries.
- Must poses a minimum of M. Sc or PhD in relevant field;
Biosafety, health economics, health policy, animal health, planet health, climate change and environmental health. - Demonstrate potential for leadership and strategic responsibility
