As part of the Ashinaga Africa Initiative, 49 scholars from 49 different countries in Sub-Saharan Africa will be accepted to our leadership programs in Kampala, Uganda, and Dakar, Senegal, to receive academic training in their studies of interest and assistance with applying to universities around the world. Ashinaga hopes to empower its students to make the changes they want to see in their communities, countries, and Africa as a whole through education. We are currently seeking interns to support students at Ashinaga Uganda and Ashinaga Senegal.

- Round trip economy class flights to Uganda (from the same point of origin)
- Monthly stipend of 650,000UGX.

ELIGIBILITY
They are particularly interested in interns who can teach science courses, assist Japanese teachers, offer prior guidance on Japanese society and culture, teach other subjects, offer career counselling or leadership training.
