Next Health Accelerator program offers 6 months of opportunity assessment, product development, acquisition marketing, network access and expert mentoring for selected startups with a focus on regional expansion and product adoption and integration in existing value chains.
Next Health Accelerator harnesses the promise and potential of entrepreneurs with solutions to the most pressing challenges in health today, particularly in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
WORTH
- Seed Funding: Each Start-up will receive USD 15,000 of seed funding during the acceleration phase to facilitate validation of new or improved products and services
- Mentoring: Startups have access to a network of mentors, coaches, experts in their respective fields.
- Strategic Support: Startups will receive support in technology, marketing, and design as well as entrepreneurship, enable them to overcome the greatest challenges they face.
- Access to Networks: A strong network of value chain partners willing to adopt and integrate products offered by accelerated startups.
- Perks: Many perks are available to accelerated startups. They include free or discounted tools such as Amazon Web services (AWS), Stripe Atlas, etc.
ELIGIBILITY
- We are looking for African talent that sees the individual as an active agent in accessing healthcare and achieving her health goals.
- We welcome entrepreneurs who believe in normalizing Sexual and Reproductive Health and who have scalable solutions to do so.
- We are looking for startups that understand a shortage of 18 million healthcare workers by 2030 is both a challenge and an opportunity to increase access to self-care solutions that provide health seekers autonomy for diagnostics and/ or treatment.
