The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation framework and plans, research, and learning framework of the YHA projects.
He/she will develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by any project. He/she will also provide technical assistance to the programs team in the design of projects and programs, particularly in relation to monitoring and reporting issues.
Specific responsibilities:
- To coordinate the development of M&E framework and plans for, programs and the organisation’s strategic Plan.
- Coordinate and Participate in baseline, midterm and end of line monitoring and evaluation and supervise projects, stakeholders or enumerators during data collection.
- Collects data and tracks all project outcomes.
- Compiles, cleans and analyses qualitative and quantitative data.
- Conducts data filing and archiving as per project requirement
- Suggest strategies to Management for improving the efficiency and
- effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project
- activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
- Degree in social science related fields from any reputable school (a Master
- degree will be an added advantage)
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment
- Prior experience in an NGO is an added advantage
- Have a passion for M&E
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Be confident
- Be detail-oriented.
