The Student Bloggers’ campaign to end Sexual and Gender-based Violence is a six-month program that aims at empowering and enlisting student bloggers (from Universities across Nigeria) as front-line actors that will lead the campaign to end Gender-Based Violence in their community and society at large using their existing platforms.
WORTH
- Students will have the opportunity to participate in a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to be trained on understanding Gender-based Violence, understanding their university’s anti-sexual harassment policy, as well as, tools to effectively curate and generate conversations both online and offline.
- Selected students will be required to use their creative skills to create both online and offline campaign strategies that are targeted at raising awareness and putting a stop to Sexual and Gender-based Violence among the faculty, staff, and students and within the university community.
- Participants will also receive technology as well as financial support to scale up their blogging platforms.
