There is a new wave of youth activism and it is going to change the world forever! UNFPA and AfriYAN Ghana believe in this new wave and also believe that the youth are central to sustainable development. There will be no achievement of Agendas 2030 and 2063 and the ICPD Programme of Action if youth are not holding the fort.
There are many exciting opportunities to be part of this wave. One of it is to feature in the State of the Youth Address – a video presentation on what your thoughts are concerning the state of the Chinese and African youth, you can also articulate in the video what youth-related issues you would want Chinese and African Governments to prioritize on the development agenda. This will be an integral part of the opening of the conference and will be viewed globally. We invite you to submit your videos.
ELIGIBILITY
- You can submit the video as an individual or as a group.
- You (and your friends) should be below 35 years to be eligible to submit a video
- Videos can be recorded with a camera or a phone, as long as it is in a format that allows you to upload it. Your video should be of good quality.
- Videos recorded on phones should be taken horizontally.
- The video should be clear (of good quality) and audible.
- Video submissions are encouraged from young marginalized individuals and groups.
