The 2017 Uganda Press Photo Award Competition is Open for Submissions!
The Uganda Press Photo Award invites all professional & non- professional Ugandan photojournalists and photographers to participate in the 6th annual photo contest.
An international panel of judges with years of photography experience will deliberate on which images stand out and best showcase the events of the past year. To cater to the different photography interests and not limit the competition to only press photography, the award has 7 categories from which participants can choose to submit their published or unpublished work: News, Daily Life, Creative, Portrait, Sports, Nature & Story.
WORTH
- You are invited to submit your best work in a bid to win a CANON EOS 7D MARK II DSLR camera.
- A chance to showcase your work amongst the best photography, and yourself among the best visual storytellers Uganda has to offer.
ELIGIBILITY
- The Ugandan Press Photo Award will accept published and unpublished photographs.
- The contest is restricted to Ugandan citizens, 18 years of age or older
- All entries must have taken between September 1st 2016 and September 1st 2017, and must be submitted by September 1st This will be confirmed via EXIF data.
