The Young Fellows Program is a 6 month traineeship program designed to deliver sustainable, effective and impactful training to young Technical Assistance (TA) providers. The program is designed to improve performance and investment readiness of early stage agricultural SMEs in Ghana.
The programme is especially designed for young graduates who have completed their National Service with at least a diploma or a higher tertiary qualification and are looking to gain practical experience to build skills needed for a future career in the agribusiness sector During their field placements, Fellows will work on projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of host businesses. Project areas might include accounting and financial management, engineering, market development, operations, business and investment development.
WORTH
- Fellows will receive a month intensive pre-placement training followed by a five month placement in host agribusinesses in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
ELIGIBILITY
- A tertiary qualification in engineering, finance, accounting, marketing, administration, business management, agriculture or other related areas.
- Fellows must also exemplify a commitment to excellence and be less than 35 years old.
- Have had a maximum of 2 years post National Service experience.
- Available to go through the entire program starting from May 2016 and ending in October 2016.
