The Climate Information Prize is awarding cash prizes to entrepreneurs and innovators who come up with new solutions that use climate information in some way to supports vulnerable individuals, households and communities in Kenya.
Winning solutions will enable vulnerable individuals and households to access products and services that make use of climate information, in order to better tackle climate uncertainty and risk.
Have an idea? If so we are looking for you! There are a number of competitions you can get involved in, each awarded with respective prizes. The first one is now open and we want to hear about your innovative ideas on how to use climate information to help those vulnerable to climate change

Wazo Prize
- The Wazo Prize will award the best fifteen submissions that outline a business idea using climate information to develop a solution that will help the vulnerable adapt to climate variability and change.
- Submissions will be judged by an independent panel.
- The competition is now open and the deadline for submissions is the 7th February 2016
- The winners will receive cash prizes, with a maximum individual prize of US$15,000.
